These helminthes are found in ducks, sometimes in chickens. The only species that affects both ducks and geese is Prothogonius spp which resides in the bursae of fabricius, oviducts, cloaca and rectum.
Clinical signs: diarrhea
Diagnosis: based on clinical signs,presence of eggs/flukes in faeces
Treatment: levamisole, flubendazole and piperazine.
